Research Institute for Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics Indonesian Ulema Council or called LPPOM MUI is the institution in charge of strong researching, reviewing, analyzing and deciding whether the products both food and derivative products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics products are safe to eat well in terms of health and in terms of teaching Islam, which is halal or permissible and good for consumption for Muslims, especially in the territory of Indonesia, in addition to providing recommendations, formulating provisions and guidance to community services.
